Riverside Meadows Intermediate School

We are one month into our new school year and I can safely say that Plumas Lake is a wonderful place to be.  Riverside Meadows Intermediate School has welcomed me as their new principal with open arms and as I have gotten to know the staff and students, I feel more and more at home. 

Riverside Meadows currently has 409 students, 23 teachers, and another 15 staff members.  In my  opinion, we are the perfect size for a middle school.  I have been thoroughly impressed with all we have to offer our students.  Each student has special talents and interests and Riverside allows everyone to explore and learn more about what it is they are interested in. 

I want to send a big thank you to the Riverside PTSA and the parent community for helping start this school year off on the right foot.  We had a very successful turnout for our Back-to-School Night and parents enjoyed the warm evening with a Nacho Dinner and a performance by our advanced band students. 

As we move further into the school year, please keep in mind that I always welcome feedback, ideas, and opinions from the community on ways in which we can improve the great work we are doing at Riverside Meadows.
